Join us in this workshop to learn some basic but juicy moves you can use when teaching smaller group glasses, and more you can use in one-on-one private yoga sessions. It will help to increase your awareness and confidence of how to touch and apply pressure in assists. Your private session clients will receive noticeable benefits from the boost in vital life force when you free up some of the Sen (energy) lines with this nurturing, healing touch.
Pre-registration required: $60 early bird registration through 6/4, $75 after.
*This workshop is also open to LMTs and other movement therapists who would like an intro to Thai Bodywork to enhance their skills. It does require a certain degree of knee mobility & strength: sitting in thunderbolt/hero pose, kneeling and maneuvering around a supine body.

Thai Massage/Thai Yoga Bodywork is a unique method of assisted stretching, gentle joint opening movements, and acupressure compressions that restore the flow of your vital life force (Sen, Qi, Prana), throughout the whole body. It is a very adaptable and intuitive method allowing for all body types regardless of perceived flexibility. You just relax and let yourself be guided through a passive assisted yoga sequence. The gentle stretching of yoga relieves muscular and emotional tension, stimulates the blood, lymph and internal organs, increases joint mobility, improves circulation and boosts the immune system. Stimulating the flow of Sen healing energy effectively removes blocked areas in the body and brings the body, mind and spirit back into balance and harmony.
People report feeling taller, younger, invigorated, calm, present, open, buoyant, like a weight has been lifted and a spaciousness in their bodies they haven’t felt in years.
