This is a truly gentle class great for the ‘I’m not flexible’ people, beginners, active seniors, those returning from an illness or injury, and anyone wanting to relax, unwind, and de-stress! This is a straightforward and simple sequence of stretches (asana) and breath awareness (pranayama) based on the teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra, NYC. Sometimes I bring my Tibetan singing bowls for a little sound therapy in the final relaxation (savasana).
*Parents: there is a kids class (ages 4-8) offered at the same time in the other studio room!
Saturdays weekly, 10-11am.
$10 drop in, or studio passes available.
