Yoga Nidra guided meditation helps us to heal and reintegrate the 5 sheaths of your being (physical, prana/energy, emotional, mental, and bliss bodies) which get damaged and displaced by the traumas we experience in our lives. This superconscious state has also been shown to accelerate healing and learning, and has proven effective as a tool to recover from PTSD and anxiety.
One hour of Yoga Nidra restores the body similarly to 6 hrs of deep sleep, and with regular practice can improve the overall quality of your sleep. Yoga Nidra guided meditation brings you into a deeply restorative healing state that will release tension in the body, enhance your vital energy and leave you with a greater sense of peace and well being. It is typically @45 min long guided meditation received while lying on your back in savasana relaxation pose.
You will emerge from this special experience with a deep sense of peace and well-being, rejuvenated, feeling connected and ready to share your divine Self!

Props will be provided, but if you have your own yoga mat, blanket, and pillow to bring that would be helpful so there are extras!

Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to get parked and situated, especially if you are new to the studio.
Street parking, meters, and parking garage are all free all weekend with no time limits in L/A, so you can park wherever you like. Centerville parking garage (62 Canal St) is right around the corner, as is Oak St Parking Garage (entrance on Park St).
