Saturday April 25th 9-11am
Come together for Maha Sadhana (the Great Practice) the last Saturday of each month to deepen your awareness and join in sangha (spiritual community). Includes: satsang (spiritual talk), pranayama (breath awareness), dharana (concentration techniques), mantra chanting, mindful flow asana (postures- suitable for all levels), & concluding with a deep yoga nidra guided meditation to balance the koshas (sheaths/layers of your being).
Suitable for beginners and all levels.
You will set up an area at home for your practice: yoga mat, at least 2 blankets, a low/med pillow for behind the knees, a hand towel for head/neck cushioning.
You can use a smartphone, ipad, laptop, or computer…I encourage you to join the meeting with video so we can have a little bit of socialization before and after the practice, you will have controls to turn your video on/off, your audio will be disabled during the practice. So only my video and audio will be running through the actual practice.
So far all the test groups and tea chats I have had this week were VERY fulfilling, for a while this will be our new mode of socialization for the unforeseeable future! That being said you absolutely can keep your video off and still interact via audio, and/or just be a ’silent witness’ and enjoy the practice. Once you get the hang of Zoom it is quite enjoyable, though!
